He was the son of Henry IV and Mary de Bohun
15. Henry VI (1421-1471)
King Of England (1422-1461)
He was the son of Henry V and Catherine Of France. By the treaty of Troyes in 1420, he was heir
to the throne of France. His father’s death in 1422, gave him England’s throne, and the death of
Charles VI Of France, a few weeks later, caused him to be proclaimed King Of France also. He
was crowned in Paris in 1431.
